WE'RE JUST leaving the Eton B&B in Brisbane to make our way (via some as yet to be determined stop en-route) to the airport to fly down to Sydney, in order to connect with our flight to Adelaide later this afternoon.
THE ZOO was OK -- certainly not the best one I've ever been to, but their conservation work is to be applauded, so they get extra marks for that.
IT'S bloody hot here at the moment (33c) and Hoopy tells us that it's 38 in Adelaide. Phew! Still, better than the rain and floods we're missing back in Devon.
CHINATOWN last night for food, which was nice. Though perhaps not quite as nice as the three pints of Guinness I necked beforehand in the Elephant & Wheelbarrow pub. Charlie even managed to get $5 from the guy who was running a quiz there.
SPEAKING of Chaz, he's now started calling Hoopy "Uncle Hoopy". How cute.

hi Boys and Ali
have not left a comment for a little while as my broadband is down in the Village F*****G BT.
The presse has not changed it's name yet as John does not want to change the paperwork B4 Xmas they may want Uncle Hoops to come back and have an official opening in Jan.
Going to have a word with John the landlord to make up a special cocktail for the Hoops on his return so any info on what he has been drinking down under would help
Is hoops still off the Fags or the bad display in the last match forced him back on them .
Weather here rain ,rain amd more bloody rain so your better off in bognor as the east of the country in in sunshine.
Hope the trip goes ok to your next destination and no more bomb scares
The Real Ian Chandler
Thirty three degrees is not hot. Forty three degrees is hot, which is about what it was for us last Christmas in Melbourne and Brisbane. Which is why we are staying home in Tasmania this year :-)
